This includes arthritis, joint replacement, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, spine and disc problems, scoliosis, hand problems, foot problems, trauma, and broken bones. Only Orthopaedic Surgeons have the advanced training to treat such a wide spectrum of problems, with or without surgery, according to a specific need. Many Orthopaedists subspecialize within a given area. The “Find a Doctor” function on this app can assist with finding the most appropriate Orthopaedist in a particular area of the state of Virginia.
